By including plants in your home decor design, you are bringing nature into your home and creating a closer connection with mother nature. Not to mention that plants have health benefits like cleaner air and a better state of mind. There are many different ways to include plants in your space: hanging plants, living walls, herb gardens, or a creative project like air plant string art.
DIY air plant string art is an easy and gorgeous project that can be altered to fit any style or color scheme. You create a unique string design by hammering nails into a wood surface and then wrapping string around the nails. Air plant care is extremely easy. Every 1–2 weeks soak the roots of the air plants for 15 minutes. Let them dry completely and then reattach to your project.
