When October arrives, my inner goth awakens. Yes, at 32 I still go through phases.
My wardrobe becomes shadowy, my music a little gloomy and my movies - well, let's just say Tim Burton
becomes my best friend and the Munsters 
stays on Netflix.
Of course I'm too happy a person to ever lay upon a marble slab and weep with rose in hand over a lost love - I just like to dress like it.When I feel something within, I'm not very good at suppressing it. It must come out of me in some way, shape or form. With Halloween fast approaching I have the perfect outlet to let my littly gothy girl come out and play.
She decorates the house with fake spiderwebs and black gauzy fabrics. She lines the bookshelves with styrofoam skulls and little plastic skeletons and by the end of the month she'll get diabetes form eating 50 little Reese's Peanut-butter Cups that she bought for the trick-or-treaters that never come to the house but she um, buys the candy anyway...
