Gender neutral colors.
We received hand-me-downs for both a boy and girl but the amount of girl stuff far outweighed the boy stuff and if we were indeed having a boy, we'd be up the creek. I wanted to register for items but I had no idea what to ask for and no one knew what to get me which resulted in me not getting a baby shower until my baby boy was almost three months old. I was grateful for the shower but with us being so financially unstable at that time there was so much stuff we really needed for his first few weeks that we just had to do without.
I completely understand that whether by choice or by circumstance, not knowing the gender of your baby can be very exciting but frustrating.
You're probably wondering: What on earth do I register for? What kind of clothes do I get? How do I decorate the nursery?
And you're probably getting the same words of wisdom that I got from soooo many people when I was pregnant with my first child: Oh, just get everything in green and yellow.
You know what colors I'm talking about. That minty soft green and pale yellow? That's it.
BORING!
Check out these fun unconventional gender neutral colors below and let me know what you think.

Beautiful colors. The palette is so full of possibilities, it's a shame people feel a compulsion to squeeze every baby into a boy/girl hole limited to blue and pink.
ReplyDeleteLove these names! Will deffintily use them for information in my writings! Thank you, I love your blog x
ReplyDeleteI love the colors used for dresses. These are the brighter ones and will defiantly get the best from kids with no gender stereotyping.
