I'm going to follow your tips on the products but is there any recommendations on how to care her hair, how often to wash or do it daily, I'm so confused. She is 1 year old now thanks Fabiolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14174266926364211241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6900348203120395826.post-74371612839950566942017-12-31T04:58:14.610-06:002017-12-31T04:58:14.610-06:00Bookmarking this page! Since about 10-11 months it has started to grow in. around the hairline it is poker straight...with deep wavy curls in the front top. The crown has thicker, tighter coils and the back is shorter coils that tend to get dry and fuzzy. I had been using baby shampoos and spray in curl hydration from Cantu (that's actually mine...I have natural hair that I wear in a big curly afro). However it feels a tad too heavy/greasy on his hair. His Dad says to leave his hair alone since any product/water tends to straighten it out and he likes the unruly curl look. However I know that dryness and knots lead to breakage. Still experimenting and trying to find things that will work!Miss S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10887805742474651903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6900348203120395826.post-23555427527675399032017-09-09T19:59:43.582-05:002017-09-09T19:59:43.582-05:00I just found you. Then, puberty hit at age 13 & her curls started to slowly tighten up & her hair started to become more dry. It has been about a year now that her hair has grown more horizontally (just crazy curls) instead of long. We had to really change things up. No more shampoo with every shower...now just 1 or 2xs/week. Only condition every day & it was hard finding a conditioner that didn't cause acne around her hairline. I adore her crazy curls. Her hair always looks great on a shampoo & conditioner day...it's those days in between that things get a bit "hairy". We will figure it out. I know I'm not alone:-)<br />-Jennifer JennySueR2https://www.blogger.com/profile/08023354823479537106noreply@blogger.com
